70 degrees comes to …
70 degrees comes to mind. It’s been a long time. We are lloking for a feathering joiner for the middle of our next paddles. This will allow any angle and they can be separated in the middle for transport. I think 230 or 235 cm is the length. I decided on that based on my height, but we don’t know quite yet how high I will be above the waterline. The next one will be more custom once I get in the boat and figure some things out.

The shaft is spruce …
The shaft is spruce. It is halved and hollowed on the inside of each half and then glued together. That was supposed to make it lighter, then we used bloodwood, spruce, walnut, and Alaskan yellow cedar for the blades. I misjudged the scarf and had to add the bloodwood spacer you see in the middle in the last slide.
