I was paddled in school from ages 4-14, (ages 15-17, I was home schooled, and the teachers never spanked the kids). I can tell you now, it did me alot of good, and really kept me in line. Corporal punishment should still be in schools, we need it. Todays kids, (especially teenagers), a real little shits. They just don’t care. A few good swats across the is what every bad kid needs these days, Plus, if Superphat’s laughing, you’re not doing it hard enough. I always cried while being paddled.

Sorry I don’t buy it. Most of the kids that were violent when I was growing up did NOT get spanked. The spanked kids were generally less violent especally by the time they reached high school.

I wished there was corporal punishment in my school when I was growing up. My father enjoyed using corporal punishment on me (though not with a paddle) – and throughout junior high and high school I fantasized about getting it from a teacher or principal, preferably a male. Methodical, routinized pain. A cane, a paddle, a strop. In complete submission. Yum. It’s just not the same when you ask someone to do it to you and you can make them stop if it hurts too much.

I wish there was corporal punishment in my school when I was growing up because then maybe I wouldn’t have gotten into so much trouble and of course have been a good girl! LOL! I wish they would bring back corporal punishment but the government decides to be a dictator in that. When I mean CP in schools I don’t mean preschools or kidergarden.

Violence in the world today starts with parents who continue the horrible abuse they received as children. Can’t we start a school class on parenting in every single school all over the world to teach kids how to discipline their kids properly later on when they have kids or demand every new parent to attend a parenting seminar before their first child is born — there is 9 months for them to learn the right way to raise a child after all.

i was paddled in elementary school. that was just back in 95-97. It wasn’t illegal in Hustontown PA at the time. It kept kids inline.
