i was paddled in elementary school. that was just back in 95-97. It wasn’t illegal in Hustontown PA at the time. It kept kids inline.

I wished there was …
I wished there was corporal punishment in my school when I was growing up. My father enjoyed using corporal punishment on me (though not with a paddle) – and throughout junior high and high school I fantasized about getting it from a teacher or principal, preferably a male. Methodical, routinized pain. A cane, a paddle, a strop. In complete submission. Yum. It’s just not the same when you ask someone to do it to you and you can make them stop if it hurts too much.
